Registration & Equipment 

On this page you will find information and guidelines on how to register for the contest, and how to submit an equipment request form. There is also the list of past participating schools that will populate in the registration form. If you have any other questions about the contest, please refer to our Contest Rules/FAQ page.

Contest Registration Guidelines

• Teams have begun to register already so please encourage students to sign up in their team of 5 ASAP!

1. 1. 1. There must be 5 students for each team currently enrolled in school (any type of school or level of study is acceptable)
      2. Teams must have a faculty advisor and permission from your school to participate
      3. All team names should be in good taste and must not include school name for anonymity
      4. With permission from your school, teams may work virtually or on campus
      5. Please fill in the form using the link and your team will be automatically registered
      6. Check the FB group for updates or check the Registered Teams page to ensure your team is on the list (this may take a few days after registration)

• What if our team has a really cool name like “The F#%&ng B#%$rds”?

All team names should be in good taste, and, no matter how cool you think it is – a team with an offensive name will be asked to come up with another name. Registered team names will be posted on Facebook periodically prior to the competition so repeated team names can be avoided.

TEAM CAPTAINS must register their 5-person team before Wednesday, Oct 11, 2023, 11:59pm. Teams can register by clicking the button below.

Equipment Request Form

24 HOURS would like to support students that may be having a difficult time purchasing equipment for learning in the virtual space (small webcam and/or gooseneck tripod with ring light). We hope this small gift will help encourage under privileged students to participate in this year’s contest. BONUS: the equipment is yours to keep to help with your virtual schooling! *Completion of this form does not guarantee equipment will be received. First come first served until supplies last. Equipment donation made possible by funding from our generous sponsor Toon Boom!
